Biography and academic profile
Dr. Dipanwita Deb obtained her Ph.D. in the area of Algal Biotechnology from the Department of Agricultural & Food Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. After qualifying GATE, she completed M. Tech. from the same department and joined the Ph.D. program (JRF & SRF, IIT Kharagpur, MHRD, India). During her doctoral tenure, she received International Travel Grant (MHRD) for presenting her research at the European Congress on Biotechnology, Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Deb has quality publications in SCI journals such as Scientific Reports- Nature, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, etc. She also holds M. Sc. degree in Microbiology. Extremely passionate about teaching, she has been tutoring M. Sc. as well as B.Tech-M.Tech students at the School Biotechnology.
