About the School

A new era of life-science education and translational research.

The School’s foundation stone was laid by Nobel Laureate Prof. Richard R. Ernst and it was inaugurated by noted immunologist Prof. Hans Hengartner and Nobel Laureate Prof. Rolf Zinkernagel.

Its academic environment combines air-conditioned classrooms, laboratories, conference and reading spaces, round-the-clock library access and a broad collection of journals, e-resources and interdisciplinary databases.

KSBT channels its collective energies into large-scale problems, developing skilled human resources and innovative technologies while strengthening research, outreach, partnerships and entrepreneurship.
