Biography and academic profile

"After finishing a Ph.D. in physics (Specialization: Soft Condensed Matter) in 2005 from IGCAR, Kalpakkam, Dr. Mohanty moved to Kyoto University, Japan as a Post-doctoral fellow. Then in the year of 2006, he moved to the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. Subsequently, he got selected in the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt (AVH) fellowship and then moved to RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2007 and spent almost two years. After that, he again moved back to Switzerland (University of Fribourg) in 2009 under the SNF project. Later on, he worked as a Researcher at Lund University, Sweden for a few years. He joined KIIT university in 2014 July as a faculty member in the School of Biotechnology and later as joint faculty in newly opened school of chemical technology.

His teaching subjects: Physics and Nanobiotechnology to Integrated M.tech Biotechnology students.
