Dr. Amrita Mishra

Associate Professor

Dr. Amrita Mishra obtained her PhD from Jeonbuk National University, South Korea. Her research expertise spans bioprocess engineering, microbiology, environmental biotechnology, biomaterials. She has received several prestigious recognitions including the DBT Bio-Care Scientist Award, DST Young Scientist Research Grant, Young Scientist Award from the Association of Microbiologists of India, and the NESA Award. Dr. Mishra has secured major national and international research funding from agencies such as DBT, DST, Swedish Research Council, and JPIAMR and NALCO. Her research focuses on sustainable biomaterials, nanotechnology, wound healing systems. She serves as an Affiliated Scientist at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.
