Dr. Debee Prasad Sahoo
Assistant Professor
Dr. Debee Prasad Sahoo received his Ph.D. in Life Science from Assam University, Silchar in 2016. He carried out his doctoral research work at Dept. of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati. He did his post-doctoral research work at Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar (2016 to 2018); at Instituto de Biotecnologia, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (2019 to 2021). Currently, Dr. Sahoo is working as an Assistant Professor (II) at School of Biotechnology, KIIT University. His main research interest lies in plant molecular biology focused on the study of genetic, epigenetic, and metabolic regulatory networks involved in plant development and stress responses with applied approaches in crop science aiming to accelerate crop improvement for better yield and stress tolerance.
