Associate Professor 

Dr Sandeep Kumar Panda is an expert in food microbiology whose career spans prestigious institutions, including ICAR, CSIR, IIT, and the University of Johannesburg. His research leverages microbial technology to transform underutilised cereals, fruits, and vegetables into functional foods and beverages, with support from national and international funding agencies focused on food fortification and microbial safety. A prolific scholar, he has authored and edited numerous books with world-renowned publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor & Francis. He serves on the editorial boards of Springer Nature’s Discover Biotechnology and Discover Minerals.
