Dr. Dindyal Mandal
Associate Professor
Dr. Mandal has fourteen years of teaching and twenty five years of research experience. He earned his Ph. D (Chemistry) from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India and got postdoctoral training at several reputed institutes (Mayo clinic, M D Anderson Cancer Center, University of Rhode Island) in USA. Broad objective of his research involves the application of chemistry in solving the biological problem. Major areas of interest include developing peptide based drug delivery systems, exploring peptide based green synthesis of metal nanoparticles and quantum dots and their biomedical applications. He has published more than seventy papers in international journals and filed nine patents.
