Dr. Madhuchhanda Mohanty

Currently serving as a Faculty Associate at KIIT University (since 2018), teaching Bioinformatics, Computer Science, and Programming. PhD in Biotechnology (Bioinformatics, 2023) with research focused on In Silico docking and Molecular Dynamics simulations to study protein–ligand and protein–protein interactions and modeling of Nanomaterials.

Master’s in Bioinformatics from Lund University, Sweden, where I developed a C++-based tool for ortholog detection using sequence similarity and synteny, later deployed as a web platform.

Proficient in Python, Perl, R, C/C++, Java, and HPC/Linux environments, with strong experience in pipeline development and data integration.
