Biography and academic profile

Dr. Sanjukta Das holds a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from IISc Bangalore, and completed postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School. Her research spans computational genomics, cancer epigenomics, and single-cell transcriptomics, with a focus on identifying targetable biomarkers in cancer. Her current work extends into functional precision medicine for acute myeloid leukemia, where she leverages machine learning to build predictive tools for personalized drug combination strategies. She also investigates transcriptional dysregulation and immune evasion in solid tumors, with prior contributions to understanding tumor microenvironment and cell lineage plasticity in solid tumors. She has published in Nature Cancer, Science Advances, and Journal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer.
