Tithi Parija
Assistant Professor
Tithi Parija started her carrier as research scholar in 1997 after finishing her MSc. from Utkal University. She holds a PhD degree from Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar and received post doctoral fellowship from Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. She has 15 years of teaching and research experience and worked in organizations like Sri Ramchandra Medical College, Cancer Institute, Chennai and Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar before joining KIIT. Her research interests mainly focused on molecular biology of breast cancer. She also works on chemo prevention of cancer by natural compounds. She received State Young Scientist Award for the year 2002 from the Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of Odisha, India and DBT-Bio-CARe award in 2012. She is also a life member of Indian association of Cancer Research.

Received a grant from Dept. of Biotechnology, New Delhi for a project entitled “ study on Estrogen Receptor – alpha on breast cancer with reference to local population” ( Sanction no: BT/Bio-Care/08/366/2010-2011) under Bio-CARe program.
