• Principal Investigator (PI): Biogenic nanoparticles combined with 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) to elucidate mechanisms in colon cancer (SERB, Government of India); development of a novel chemopreventive oral disintegrating strip for oral potentially malignant disorders (ICMR); development of the first herbal-based buccal patch for management of oral submucous fibrosis (DBT); and validation of anticancer activity of phytochemicals from traditional herbal practices (NIF–DST, Government of India).
• Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI): Development of a purified phytochemical-based mucoadhesive buccal patch for palliative management of oral potentially malignant disorders and oral fibrosis (ICMR); investigation of the link between inflammatory bowel disease and neurodegeneration using genetically predisposed IBD mouse models (ICMR); and preclinical evaluation of a novel curcumin formulation for breast cancer therapy (DBT, Government of India).
