Biswadeep Das
Associate Professor
Biswadeep Das has several years of experience in biomedical research and teaching UG and PG students of biology. After post-graduating from Bangalore University, Biswadeep conducted his PhD program under Indian Council of Medical Research in the genetics and evolutionary biology of Aedes mosquitoes and transmission of arboviral disease. He has a keen interest in molecular diagnostics and evolutionary genetics, that can be shown through his publications and patent. Biswadeep did his post doctoral training in Mayo Clinic, USA on disease modeling using zebrafish applying advanced genetic engineering techniques. Currently, he holds a regular faculty position at KIIT School of Biotechnology and is involved in teaching and research activities involving genotoxicology, molecular diagnostics and outreach activities.
